I have always been very cautious about using any product on my face that contain the words “alpha hydroxy” and /or “glycolic acids” because of permanent thinning of the skin on my face due to a lotion that was prescribed to me in my late 20’s for eczema and used for many years…one of the side effects that I didn’t learn about until well into my 30’s was permanent thinning of the skin. My skin is very sensitive and reacts to the environment and all the stuff in it! At one point if it was really smoggy my cheeks would weep….fast forward to my late 60’s. I am skin care, junkie, and I have used many face serum‘s and I was looking for something to be a little bit more intense as I am in my 40s. I have tried everything and although at the beginning I did not notice a great change, after a few weeks of using this serum (along with Prevent oil) my skin is smooth, less oily and even. Best of it’s kind on the market. I’ve tried a couple of these overnight exfoliant masks. This one is sensational. Wake up to smooth skin. Even in winter, no dry flakes and gone are the days when your foundation looks terrible due to flaky skin. One bottle lasted a year for me. I didn’t use it all the time, but every night in winter.
I started using this serum twice a week and now use it almost every night. My skin feels very smooth and hydrated in the morning. It goes on smoothly and has a wonderful smell. I have sensitive skin and it tingled a bit at first but I had no redness or other issues . Will continue to use and recommend this product!
